Glad that game against FEU last Sunday was called off due to bad weather. Honestly, the Green Archers aren’t ready to face the Tamaraws just yet and had they lost, it would put them just a game ahead of those chasing for a semis berth.
In spite of a winning record, the team is still struggling to find its form and we hope in their succeeding games against teams in the middle to bottom of the standings, they would gain momentum and confidence to make a strong push towards the final four. If they play their cards right, they can secure their spot in the semis by the time they face FEU to close out the elimination round. Finishing in the top two is kind of a stretch but still possible.
It was a convincing win by La Salle over Adamson in the first round but the Falcons are showing some fight as of late. They could have been 3-2 in their last five games had they made the right stops against FEU and NU. They may be practically out of the running already but expect them still to go all out and play the spoilers’ role from hereon. If the Green Archers aren’t careful, the Falcons might just sneak up on them.
Here’s wishing the Green Archers could blow them out right from the get-go so to give our second-stringers an opportunity to play more.
