For the Lady Spikers, losing two- straight matches already seems like losing ten-straight.
They are glad see that short skid end today.
Playing without their captain Desiree Cheng, the team got a boost from their reserves as they sweep UE 25-18, 25-20, 25-18 Saturday to bring their title-defense campaign back on track.
Cheng sat out this match after experiencing pain in her shoulder. Tin Tiamzon got her first start this season and as she finished with 10 points.

After dominating the first set, the Lady Spikers saw themselves trail by 7 points. The team fought their way back and eventually take a two set to none lead.
It was another slow start for them in the third but soon managed to pull away in the end to notch their fourth win in six games.

Rookie Jolina Dela Cruz once again led the charge with 14 points but it was the solid team play that made the difference in this game. La Salle got solid contributions from newcomers Des Clemente and Marionne Alba.
The team closes out their first round campaign next Saturday against FEU.
