The De La Salle University Lady Archers commenced their UAAP Season 82 Women’s Basketball Tournament second round run with a 44-98 loss at the the hands of defending champions National University Lady Bulldogs, Sunday morning at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The result relegates the Lady Archers to a 3-5 win-loss record this year.
La Salle failed to keep up with NU’s blazing 8-28 start at the end of the first period. The Lady Bulldogs were simply dominant from then on and they achieved their biggest lead at 57 points.
Bennette Revillosa led the team with 13 points alongside five rebounds.
La Salle looks to bounce back in a big way against the Ateneo Lady Eagles on October 13, 2019, at the same venue.
