It’s fortunate that the UAAP board decided on the issue very quickly. A 1-game penalty means that the Lady Spikers are still on top of the standings. This allows the team to focus on the challenges of retaking the championship. It must be noted that after our team swept UST at the end of the first round, last year’s champions again went down to a second straight set loss to Ateneo, which seems to be picking up on their game. It will be an interesting run up to the playoffs.
